Nicholas K. Graves


Mr. Graves is an associate in McGivney, Kluger & Cook’s New York City office, practicing in the areas of toxic tort and asbestos litigation.
Prior to joining McGivney, Kluger & Cook, Mr. Grave's practice focused on complex civil litigation involving national, class-action antitrust litigation, toxic tort and asbestos litigation, and mortgage-backed securities litigation. Most recently, Mr. Graves was an associate at Costello Shea & Gaffney, where he defended companies in asbestos litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Graves received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Virginia, where he interned with State Senator Creigh Deeds. He received his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was on the Dean’s List, and received a CALI award in Appellate Courts and Procedure. During law school, Mr. Graves clerked for the Cook’s County State’s Attorney Felony Prosecution and Post-Conviction Divisions. He also served as the Lieutenant Governor of External Communications and Publications for the ABA's 7th Circuit Student Division and as an editor for the Seventh Circuit Review.
Mr. Graves is admitted to practice before New York and New Jersey State Courts.
