Andrea Guariglia is an Associate in MKC&I’s Syracuse, NY office. Her practice focuses primarily in General Liability defense. Prior to joining the firm Andrea practiced in Atlanta, Georgia at a mid-sized insurance defense firm. She represented insurers and their insureds in a variety of matters including personal injury, trucking, Dram Shop liability, premises liability, construction, motor vehicle injury, and coverage disputes. She has considerable litigation experience, successfully winning judgments for clients and avoiding the expense of trial. She is also deeply experienced in appellate advocacy, having successfully defended favorable judgments at the appeals level.
In addition to her work with MKCI, Ms. Guariglia is an avid tennis player and volunteers as President of the board of Creative Minds Montessori School. She is also a member of the Central New York Women’s Bar Association.
Andrea obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia, where she was a member of the National Lawyer’s Guild and the Student Bar Association. During her law school career she clerked at a prominent Atlanta plaintiff’s firm which sparked her interest in civil litigation. Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University.
