Mr. Perez is an Associate at the firm’s New York City office, focusing his practice on civil litigation matters, including but not limited to product and premise liability, mass tort, and labor law disputes. Mr. Perez has represented a variety of corporate clients in state and federal court, including 500 Fortune companies, global conglomerates, product manufacturers, and property owners. He has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, including all aspects of discovery and trial preparation, taking and defending depositions nationwide, analyzing case settlement values, potential multi-million dollar verdicts, and attending pre-trial conferences.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Perez attended Cornell Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2017. While attending law school, Mr. Perez worked at the Florida’s Office of the Attorney General, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and served as the Notes Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal. Mr. Perez earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees, magna cum laude, in Economics and International Affairs from the University of South Florida in 2013. As a freshman and sophomore in college, Mr. Perez competed in the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Tennis Big Sky and Mid-Eastern Athletic conferences, earning numerous athletic and academic awards.
Mr. Perez is currently admitted to practice law before the courts of New York State. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association.
