Andres Perez is an Associate in MKCI’s New York City office. His practice focuses on the defense of complex litigation matters on behalf of privately held corporations, Fortune 500 companies, and family-owned businesses throughout New York State. Andres has extensive experience handling the defense of toxic exposure claims involving asbestos, mold, and benzene, general liability and premises liability claims, and labor law disputes. In addition, Andres is experienced in various stages of litigation, including preparation of pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions and conducting depositions.
Andres is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association.
On a personal level, Andres is a passionate tennis player, having represented his university’s tennis team in NCAA Division I competitions nationwide.
Andres obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School, where he served as Notes Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal. During law school, Andres clerked at the Office of the Attorney General of Florida, Consumer Division Protection Unit, and at the ACLU, where he fervently protected American Civil Liberties. Andres earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and International Relations from the University of South Florida, and graduated magna cum laude.
