Ashley Friedman is an Associate in MKCI’s Philadelphia, PA office. She represents a number of clients in asbestos and general liability matters. Ashley guides her cases through the various stages of the litigation process, from drafting discovery and taking depositions to helping develop a effective defense strategy in each of her cases. Ashley also zealously advocates for her clients through motion practice, both by drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2021, Ashley worked at a defense litigation firm, focusing primarily on premises liability and municipal liability matters.
In addition to her work at MKCI, Ashley volunteers with the Support Center for Child Advocates as a Child Advocate attorney. She also enjoys taking classes at Orangetheory Fitness, running, and spending time down the shore.
She obtained her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2018. During her third year of law school, Ashley had the privilege of interning with the Honorable Mark A. Kearney in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania through Temple’s Federal Judicial Clerkship Honors Program. She also served as a teaching assistant to Professors Theresa Glennon and Salil Mehra. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Miami.
