Eric Larson is an Associate in MKCI’s Hartford, CT office, and his practice focuses on the defense of General Liability cases. Attorney Larson is responsible for advancing his client’s matters through every stage of the litigation process. His active involvement in the pleadings, discovery, motions practice and trial enables him to fully advocate on his client’s behalf. Where advantageous, Attorney Larson also handles alternative dispute resolution matters including mediation and arbitration. He is an active member of the Connecticut State and Federal District Court bar.
Attorney Larson began his legal career working for the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office in the finance division. While there, he aided in multi-state litigation relating to the mortgage back securities fraud in the 2008 financial crisis. His efforts contributed to the largest settlement in favor of the state in Connecticut’s history.
Prior to MCKI Attorney Larson gained experience on both the plaintiff’s and defense side of the bar. His extensive exposure to legal issues has provided him with unique insights as to the most beneficial and effective resolution of his client’s legal disputes.
As an avid litigator, Attorney Larson defines his practice off of his zealous representation of clients throughout the adversarial process. In undergraduate he earned a Bachelors of Science in Financial Economics with a minor in Mathematics while serving as the student body President and hosting an on air weekly radio program. While attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, he was named the best individual advocate in the Davis mock trial competition and the Loiselle moot court competition, as well as receiving a CALI award in trial advocacy.
In addition to his work with MKCI Attorney Larson has spent the last four years constructing a lake house cabin with his extended family. As a testament to his personal resilience, Attorney Larson remains a steadfast fan of his hometown sports franchises: the Buffalo Bills and Sabers.
