Jesse King is an Associate in MKCI’s Hartford, CT. His practice focuses on representing businesses and individual policyholders in a range of general liability matters, including automotive liability, premises liability, sexual misconduct complaints, and cases involving dog bites. Jesse routinely conducts in-depth investigations of each matter, authors and argues motions, conducts depositions, and aggressively prepares cases for trial.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2020, Jesse was an associate at a plaintiff’s civil litigation and criminal defense firm in Hartford.
In his spare time, Jesse enjoys reading, watching, or attending New York Yankees games, and spending time with his wife, stepdaughter, and dogs.
Jesse obtained his Juris Doctor degree from University of Connecticut School of Law, from which he graduated with honors. During law school, Jesse served as the competition editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law, provided legal assistance to those in need through the Immigration Detention and DACA clinic, volunteered to assist detained asylees prepare their immigration paperwork in the Immigration Detention Service Project, and earned three CALI awards in Immigration Law, International Trade Compliance, and Trial Advocacy.
Following his graduation from high school, Jesse spent six years in the United States Army, working in military intelligence, and ultimately deploying to Iraq in 2008-09. After being honorably discharged from the Army in 2009, Jesse attended Arizona State University, from which he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics, Cell, and Developmental Biology.
