John Bitetto

John Bitetto is an Associate in MKCI’s Florham Park, NJ office, and represents a variety of clients in talc, asbestos, and general liability matters. John actively guides his cases through the discovery process by drafting written discovery, taking depositions of parties and witnesses, performing investigative research, and by assisting in forming a defense strategy for each particular case. John also vehemently defends his clients through motion practice, both by drafting and arguing dispositive motions.

In addition to his litigation experience, John regularly submits articles for publication on the MKCI website, to keep clients informed regarding timely issues before the courts and trends in current litigation.

Prior to joining MKCI, John served as Law Clerk for The Honorable Bridget A. Stecher in the Law Division, Civil Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County. During his clerkship, John assisted the Judge in all aspects of civil practice, including preparing motions, researching legal issues, drafting pre-argument memoranda, and drafting jury charges. He also served as a certified New Jersey Judiciary Mediator.

In addition to his work at MKCI, John enjoys spending his free time golfing and hiking.

John obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. During his time at Seton Hall Law, John served as a third-year student attorney in the Seton Hall Law School Center for Social Justice’s Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic. John was awarded The Center for Social Justice Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic as the top student representative during his time in the clinic. He earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from American University, and also obtained a minor in Leadership and Management.
