Mr. Blumenstock is an experienced trial attorney and litigator who has successfully tried over a hundred cases to verdict, most of which were of high potential exposure. An aggressive and zealous defender of his clients’ interests, Mr. Blumenstock has tried and litigated matters in many states, as well as most venues throughout New York State. Comfortable trying a variety of kinds of cases, Mr. Blumenstock has won cases involving toxic tort and asbestos, construction, legal and medical malpractice, general liability and commercial disputes.
In 1982, Mr. Blumenstock obtained his Juris Doctor from Boston University after earning his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College concentrating in economics and history. Awarded an “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell (connoting pre-eminent in his field and of the highest ethical character,) he is also the recipient of the Judicial Award based on surveys of New York judges and was named a “Top Lawyer” by New York Magazine. An able and enthusiastic teacher, Mr. Blumenstock has mentored many young lawyers as well as having given lectures on a variety of legal topics at law schools and medical institutions.
Mr. Blumenstock is currently admitted to practice law before the courts of New York State, and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
