Kiadii Harmon
ASSOCIATE
Kiadii Harmon is an Associate in MKCI’s Wilmington, DE office, where he focuses his practice on general liability matters, personal injury, product liability, premises liability, construction defect, admiralty, and toxic torts. Kiadii has successfully tried cases to verdict in multiple Delaware Courts and successfully briefed matters before the Delaware Supreme Court.
Prior to joining MKCI, Kiadii worked as a complex bodily injury adjuster for a Fortune 100 insurance company, a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, and as an insurance defense litigator. This experience provided Kiadii with an intricate and comprehensive understanding of both claims handling and litigation.
Kiadii regularly serves as a presenter at Delaware CLE seminars on civil litigation practice before the Delaware Superior Court.
In 2016 he received the Young Lawyers Distinguished Service Award from the Delaware State Bar Association. Additionally, Kiadii was the Chairman of the Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Section of the Delaware State Bar Association from 2018-2020 and serves as the 2020 Co-Chair of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Committee of the Delaware State Bar Association. Kiadii also served on the Delaware State Bar Association Nominating Committee from 2014-2015. Kiadii is a member of the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court, a chapter of the American Inn of Courts based in New Castle County, Delaware. Kiadii is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Arts Alliance. He was named a 2020 Rising Star by SuperLawyers.*
Kiadii obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University’s Delaware Law School and completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. While in law school, Kiadii served as a constituent advocate and district grant coordinator for The Honorable Michael N. Castle, member of Congress and as a law clerk intern to The Honorable E. Norman Veasey Chief Justice (Ret.) of the Delaware Supreme Court. Upon completing law school, Kiadii served as law clerk to The Honorable Charles H. Toliver, IV, of the Delaware Superior Court. Kiadii attended the University of Delaware after receiving an MBNA Fortune 2000 full academic scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Ethnic and Multicultural Studies.
