Mr. Reeves is a Partner and Asbestos Trial Attorney in MK&C’s New York City office. Prior to entering civil practice, Mr. Reeves served as a prosecutor in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office from 1990 through 2012, and in the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office from 2012 through 2015. His last assignment in Richmond County was as Chief Trial Counsel, where he supervised over 45 attorneys in all phases of trial work. Prior to leaving the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, he was an Executive Assistant District Attorney, where he was assigned to the Homicide Bureau, an elite bureau dedicated to prosecuting the most violent felony offenders in Brooklyn, for over 14 years. During his over 25 years of public service, he tried in excess of 160 cases to verdict, including over 120 homicide cases. Mr. Reeves was also extensively involved in teaching prosecutors various topics such as cross-examination techniques and ethics across the state and country through the New York Prosecutors Training Institute and the National District Attorneys Association.
Mr. Reeves received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York Maritime College in 1980. He obtained his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1990.
