Matthew Mann
ASSOCIATE
Matthew Mann is an Associate in MKCI’s Florham Park, New Jersey office. His practice focuses on defending corporations and individual clients in product liability, toxic tort, construction defect, property damage, and general liability litigation, including the complex indemnification and insurance issues frequently involved in these cases.
Matthew values the importance of possessing detailed knowledge of the facts and issues involved in each case he handles and frequent communication with the clients he represents. He is involved in all aspects of litigation from initial investigation through ultimate disposition whether by summary judgement, trial or settlement.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2023, Matthew worked for a New Jersey-based law firm for twelve years, including opening and then running a satellite office in the Philadelphia suburbs. Matthew started his legal career as a legal intern in the chambers of the Honorable Peter F. Bariso, Jr., while he served as the Presiding Judge of Hudson County.
On a personal level, Mr. Mann enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family and their rescue dogs, while he also takes pleasure in woodworking, gardening and bowling when time allows.
Matthew obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Matthew participated in the New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Program assisting students in local high schools preparing for the more rigorous collegiate environment, and the Civil Litigation Clinic working with inmates involved in a class action lawsuit for civil rights violations due to inhumane conditions. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Vermont.
