Oluwatosin (“Tosin”) Kolawole is an Associate at MKCI’s New York City office. Her practice is focused on talc and asbestos matters, which includes actively guiding her cases through the discovery process by conducting in-depth investigations, drafting written discovery, taking depositions, assisting in forming a defense strategy, and helping to prepare cases for trial.
Prior to joining MKCI, Tosin defended medical malpractice actions, nursing home cases (including professional liability, general liability and alleged violations of the Public Health Law) and other tort actions for six years. Tosin has considerable experience in drafting motions, responsive papers, legal pleadings and research memoranda, and has assisted in the preparation of appellate briefs. In addition, she has handled countless depositions and court appearances.
On a personal level, Tosin dedicates her time to her family, including raising two young girls. Tosin enjoys traveling and teaching Sunday school at her church.
Tosin obtained her Juris Doctor degree from The City University of New York School of Law, where she was a staff member of the CUNY Law Review and the CUNY Law School Moot Court. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Tufts University, where she graduated Cum Laude.
