Ms. Leverette is Of Counsel to McGivney, Kluger & Cook’s Wilmington, DE office. She joins the firm with previous insurance defense experience in general liability and asbestos/toxic tort matters. In addition, Ms. Leverette has previous experience as an Attorney General in the Criminal Division of the Delaware Attorney General’s Office.
Ms. Leverette graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Philosophy in 2008, and obtained her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2014. At Temple University Beasley School of Law she was a Research Assistant to Professor Edward Ohlbaum, then Director of Trial Advocacy Programs. Ms. Leverette was involved in several internships, including the NAACP Social Justice Project, The Tucker Law Group, and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. She was a member of the Temple American Inn of Court, and was voted Evening Class Speaker for the 2014 Graduation Ceremony. Upon graduation from Temple Law, Ms. Leverette was named a Fellow in The Ruben Public Interest Law Honor Society and was a recipient of The Lena L. Hale Award- chosen by faculty for outstanding extracurricular activity.
Ms. Leverette is admitted to practice law in Delaware and is defending general liability and asbestos matters on behalf of the firm.
