Mr. Sweeney is an associate in MK&C’s New York City Office, practicing in the area of asbestos litigation. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Mr. Sweeney worked at MK&C’s New York City office as a paralegal in the asbestos department.
Mr. Sweeney received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Stony Brook University in 2009. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2015, where he graduated magna cum laude. During law school, he served as a Senior Associate Editor for the Hofstra Law Review, and as a research assistant for Professor James J. Sample, where he drafted law review articles on various topics, including campaign finance and constitutional law.
Mr. Sweeney also worked as a judicial intern for The Honorable Gary R. Brown in the Eastern District of New York, and as an intern for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
