Ms. Kelly is an associate in Mk&C’s Syracuse, New York office. She graduated cum laude from Niagara University in 2009 as a member of the University’s Honors Program with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Ms. Kelly received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2012. During her time at Syracuse University, she participated in the Moot Court Honor Society, winning the Lionel O. Grossman Trial Competition in 2011. Ms. Kelly was the recipient of the College of Law’s Robert W. Miller Award for excellence in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy. She also received the Orange Pro Bono and Community Service award for exceeding the recommended 30 hours of Pro Bono Service while attending law school.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kelly worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Kelly conducted a number of jury trials, gaining valuable experience in the courtroom. While in law school, Ms. Kelly practiced as a student attorney for the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office, writing numerous appellate briefs and successfully arguing an appeal before the Appellate Division, Fourth Department. Ms. Kelly is a member of the New York State Bar.
