Simone Nicholson

Simone Nicholson is a Senior Associate in MKCI’s New York City office. Her practice focuses on toxic torts, product liability and premises liability cases. Simone also has a background litigating labor law and construction defect cases on behalf of site safety companies and construction companies, as well as property damage cases. In addition, Simone is an experienced commercial litigator, advocating on behalf of commercial and residential real estate property owners and co-op and condominium boards as well as negotiating vendor contract disputes within the restaurant and tech industries.

In addition to litigating in the state and federal courts, Simone is an experienced appellate attorney, briefing and arguing cases before New York’s First and Second Department.

Simone is member of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), American Bar Association and the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice.

Outside of the office, Simone is an active member of a local community garden, involved in advocacy on behalf of small business owners particularly in the restaurant and hospitality industry, and is working with local organizations to combat food insecurity in New York City.

Simone obtained her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
