Stephen DeNaro

Steve DeNaro is Of Counsel in MKCI’s Florham Park, NJ office. He has significant litigation, defending clients in toxic tort, construction, general liability, automotive, premises liability, personal injury, drug possession, DWI, fraud, subrogation, and landlord tenant and collection matters. He currently practices in the areas of ERISA, toxic torts and products liability, and has served as lead defense counsel for major health insurers in state and federal actions, as well as in asbestos cases throughout the country. Steve has researched, briefed, and argued motions that contribute to the development of the “bare metal” defense as it presently exists in New Jersey. He has achieved numerous removals, dismissals, favorable settlements and arbitration results for national healthcare carriers, product manufacturers and suppliers.

Prior to his time as an attorney, Steve worked in the construction and hospitality industries, which provided him with a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses and their needs.

Steve is a member of the New Jersey and New York State Bar Associations.

Outside of his practice, Steve sits on the Board of the Nothing is Impossible Foundation, and has been involved within assisting members of the community, fund raising, event planning and event execution. He enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and, most of all, his daughter. Steve enjoys cooking, soccer and riding his motorcycle.

Steve obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of law, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Muhlenberg College.
