MKCI is proud to announce that Jeffrey Kluger, the firm’s co-founder and Director of our Toxic Torts/Hazardous Substances Practice Area, will be presenting at the American Bar Association’s Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s “Toxic Torts & Environmental Law Committee” on April 9, 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jeff will be speaking on the “Benzene Contamination in Consumer Products” panel, addressing in part the state of the litigation nationally. Jeff will be joined by colleagues, including an attorney representing plaintiffs, as well as scientific experts in the field, to discuss the litigation and the scientific, legal, and regulatory implications of the 2021 revelation that benzene had been found in a number of spray sunscreen products, and the subsequent consumer product recalls.
Jeff has spent his career advancing the aggressive and pragmatic defense of his clients in the toxic tort arena, and has defended hundreds of clients charged with liability related to asbestos, talcum powder, benzene, glyphosate, and many other alleged chemical exposures. The firm is proud to have a leader in the field present to our colleagues in the American Bar Association.
