Summer Associate Program
McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia is committed to continued growth and identifying future lawyers to join our team. Our Summer Associate Program combines legal education and practical work experience with opportunities to observe case events, including depositions, oral argument, court conferences, and trials. Our goal is to provide McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia’s Summer Associates with a well rounded experience, offering them opportunities to learn about the firm and its practice areas and allowing McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia to determine whether they would be a good fit for future employment.
Our Summer Associates are assigned to a senior attorney in the office in which they are based to receive both legal tasks and guidance throughout the approximately 9 week program. Assignments generally include both a global project useful to the firm and case specific legal work, including research and document drafting. We attempt to provide varying case related assignments, to allow our Summer Associates to experience different tasks associated with litigating cases. In addition, every effort is made to provide Summer Associates the opportunity to participate in, or observe, out of office events on a weekly basis. Summer Associates are also invited to attend any McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia training seminars conducted during their time with the firm.
McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia Summer Associates are also offered the opportunity to attend or participate in McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia’s non-work related firm activities, which in the past have included attending sporting events, bowling tournaments, firm picnics, and happy hours. We endeavor to make our Summer Associates feel that they are part of the McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia team.
