Professional Liability
The Professional Liability Practice Group is comprised of litigators with in-depth experience in defending clients in actions that cover numerous areas within the professional liability landscape. We defend employment practices, architects and engineers, directors and officers as well as healthcare and legal professional malpractice matters.
We recognize the fact-intensive nature of each professional liability case and therefore employ an aggressive case-handling approach to provide each client with an effective defense.
We have extensive experience in defending employers in cases involving race, age and gender discrimination, as well as sexual harassment. We also have defended our clients from claims based on violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In addition, we have litigated all aspects of professional liability cases involving architects and engineers, including matters involving contract, tort and breach of warranty issues. We have also defended director and officer liability cases and professional clients charged with violations of civil RICO laws.
McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia’s Professional Liability Practice Group has defended attorneys and law firms in legal malpractice actions as well as hospitals, physicians, dentists and nurses against medical malpractice claims.
