Paralegal
(Florham Park, NJ)
Our NJ Asbestos department seeks a paralegal with a background in civil defense litigation and who is willing to learn mass tort. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 prior years of experience in a paralegal role at a defense litigation firm and has applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures.
Paralegal
(Florham Park, NJ)
We are looking for a paralegal who is experienced in NY insurance defense general liability litigation, and is willing to work 3 days a week from our Florham Park, NJ office. Specifically the candidate will be assisting with our Child Victim’s Act/Sexual Assault matters. Qualified candidates will have at least 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal in civil defense litigation. Candidates should be highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Excel. Prior experience managing a large case load and cases involving numerous defendants or multi-district litigation where numerous counsel are involved in the defense of the same client preferred.
Associate
(Buffalo, NY)
Our Buffalo, NY office seeks an attorney with previous experience in civil defense litigation. A background in General Liability, Product Liability and/or Toxic Torts preferred. JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar required.
The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000.00 – $110,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Senior Associate
(New York, NY)
Our Downtown Manhattan office seeks to add a Senior Associate to our General Liability department. Ideal candidates will have at least 9+ years of civil defense litigation experience specifically in the defense of general liability matters. Qualified candidates will have the ability to manage a caseload independently and responsibly including handling depositions and court appearances. NY Bar License required.
The annualized salary range for this position is $120,000.00 – $160,000.00.

Associate Attorney
(New York, NY)
Our Downtown Manhattan office seeks a mid-level Associate to join our NY General Liability department. This role will primarily be handing CVA work. Candidates should have 3-5 years of prior civil defense litigation experience; prior insurance defense experience preferable and also have experience with heavy reporting and deposition taking. In addition to relevant work experience, candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of New York.
The annualized salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $100,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
Product Liability Associate
(New York, NY)
Our Downtown Manhattan office seeks an attorney to join our NY Asbestos/Product Liability department. Candidates should have 2-5 years of prior civil defense litigation experience; prior experience in the areas of toxic torts, asbestos, med mal and/or product liability preferred In addition to relevant work experience, candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of New York.
The annualized salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $125,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
Associate Attorney
(Syracuse, NY)
Our Upstate NY office has multiple openings for Associates in both our Toxic Tort & General Liability departments. Candidates will ideally have at least one year of experience in civil defense litigation and have completed a judicial clerkship. NY License required.
The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000.00 – $110,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Associate
(Hartford, CT)
Our Hartford, CT office seeks an attorney with previous experience in civil defense litigation. A background in General Liability, Product Liability and/or Toxic Torts preferred. JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Connecticut bar required.
Summer Associate Program
Each summer we offer 2L students the opportunity to intern with our firm for approximately 8 weeks in our Florham Park, NYC, Syracuse, Philadelphia & Hartford offices. As a summer associate, you will receive challenging responsibilities and opportunities. You will work alongside our partners and associates, contribute to trials, and take part in depositions and client conferences. We provide our summer associates a stimulating, real world experience to prepare them to take on the responsibilities of a practicing attorney.
