General Liability Attorney
(Livingston, NJ)
The New Jersey office of McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia, P.C. is actively seeking an experienced attorney – partner, or counsel level – to join its General Liability Department. The ideal candidate would have at least five (5) to ten (10) years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions, regarding both first-party and third-party matters. The candidate would have experience in insurance coverage litigation on behalf of insurers, and ideally would also have experience in construction litigation, including construction defect and bodily injury matters. Jury trial experience is a plus but is not required. The attorney must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and in New York.
Associate Attorney
(Livingston, NJ)
Our NJ Office is seeking an attorney to join our Toxic Tort/Product Liability and General Liability departments. Associate Attorneys in MKCI’s NJ office regularly handle court appearances and depositions, review documents collected in preparation for litigation, draft pleadings, discovery demands/responses, and briefs, prepare correspondence including defense strategy analysis, and conduct legal research. MKCI attorneys work in teams including legal staff, associates, partners, and trial counsel to develop case strategy and ensure that our clients’ interests are protected from our initial receipt of a case through resolution. Training and mentoring opportunities are provided to all incoming attorneys, including training on trial advocacy skills. Candidates should have 1-5 years of experience in civil defense litigation and must be admitted to practice in New Jersey.
Associate
(Buffalo, NY)
Our Buffalo, NY office has an opening for an Associate in both our Toxic Tort & General Liability departments. Candidates will ideally have at least one year of experience in civil defense litigation and have completed a judicial clerkship. Active NY Bar License required.
The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000.00 – $110,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Product Liability Associate
(New York, NY)
Our Downtown Manhattan office seeks an attorney to join our NY Asbestos/Product Liability department. Candidates should have 2-5 years of prior civil defense litigation experience; prior experience in the areas of toxic torts, asbestos, med mal and/or product liability preferred In addition to relevant work experience, candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of New York.
The annualized salary range for this position is $90,000.00 – $125,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
Associate Attorney
(Syracuse, NY)
Our Upstate NY office has multiple openings for Associates in both our Toxic Tort & General Liability departments. Candidates will ideally have at least one year of experience in civil defense litigation and have completed a judicial clerkship. NY License required.
The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000.00 – $110,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Summer Associate Program
Each summer we offer 2L students the opportunity to intern with our firm for approximately 8 weeks in our Livingston, NYC, Syracuse, Philadelphia & Hartford offices. As a summer associate, you will receive challenging responsibilities and opportunities. You will work alongside our partners and associates, contribute to trials, and take part in depositions and client conferences. We provide our summer associates a stimulating, real world experience to prepare them to take on the responsibilities of a practicing attorney.
