Career Development
McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia is committed to providing all of our employees with training and support to help them grow and succeed.
We hire the best and brightest from all backgrounds and walks of life, and are always looking to the future and expanding our team to include smart, talented, and dedicated individuals. As part of this process, we established a Summer Associate Program, during which law school students are immersed in the firm and various practice areas.
Once you join our team, we provide tools that will help you succeed, including a formal mentorship program, evaluations, extensive training, and constant learning opportunities.
Career development is personalized for each attorney via input and guidance from practice group and team leaders, mentors, and others who assist in establishing short and long-term goals. The partners and senior lawyers with whom you work most closely provide written and oral feedback once a year during our formal annual evaluation process. Your supervising attorney and mentor will provide feedback and to discuss your goals for the coming year. In addition to the annual evaluation process, we also encourage our senior attorneys to provide informal feedback throughout the year. You will also have the opportunity to perform a self-evaluation, to help assess progress, acknowledge accomplishments, and provide supervising attorneys with thoughts on what you have done well and what you want to focus on in the coming year.
Legal staff members are also included in the evaluation process and afforded the same opportunities for feedback and goal setting.
Career development is also encouraged and supported through various firm committees, including the Women Lawyers Initiative.
