Ben Pushner
OF COUNSEL
Ben Pushner is Of Counsel and a Trial Attorney in MKCI’s Boston, MA office. He has more than 25 years of experience handling all kinds of general liability matters in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, and in administrative proceedings including the defense of workers compensation asbestos claims. Ben has tried numerous cases to jury verdicts, on behalf of both defendants and plaintiffs. Ben has resolved hundreds of cases in advance of trial, through negotiation, arbitration, mediation and dispositive motions. He has previously worked as a staff attorney for an insurance company, and holds the credential of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). In addition to defending civil cases on behalf of insurance companies and multi-national corporations, Ben has represented injury claimants, and brings that broad insight to his advocacy.
Ben also receives appointments as an arbitrator and mediator certified pursuant to the Massachusetts Confidentiality Statute and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s Uniform Rules on Dispute Resolution.
Ben takes a leading role in bar activities and continuing legal education programs, as a member of Rhode Island’s Annual Meeting Planning Committee and Superior Court Bench/Bar Committee, and has served in the Rhode Island Bar Association’s House of Delegates.
When away from the office, Ben enjoys the outdoors, and spending time with his family and their dog.
Ben earned his Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Columbia University.
