Diarra Raymond
ASSOCIATE
Diarra Raymond is an Associate Attorney in MKCI’s New York City office. Her practice focuses include representing insurance companies and distributors in mass toxic tort litigation and appellate litigation. Diarra is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. She is passionate about pursuing the best result, thorough analysis, well-drafted motions and briefs, and close attention to detail to ensure success in appellate courts.
Before joining MKCI in 2025, Diarra served as an Appellate Court Attorney for the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department.
Diarra is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association and serves as a member of the NYSBA’s ComFed NYLItigator Magazine Publications Committee.
In addition to her work with MKCI, Diarra makes time to learn Japanese, attend dance classes, and volunteers with Open Hands Legal Services’ Legal Aid Desk and The Father’s Heart Ministries.
Diarra earned her Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School, magna cum laude, as well as a Master of Arts in Restorative Justice, with distinction. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Texas Woman’s University. While in law school, Diarra served as the Editor-in-Chief for Vermont Law Review, taught first-year students the basics of legal writing as a Dean’s Fellow, and earned the Outstanding Law Student Award for 2022.
