Elena Gammardella

Elena Gammardella is Of Counsel in MKCI’s New Jersey office, and has over nineteen years of private practice experience. Elena’s current practice focuses on general liability litigation matters, including claims involving the Child Victim’s Act and long term care facilities. In the past, she has represented clients in a broad range of civil matters, including contracts, real estate, divorce, landlord-tenancy, and estate planning. Elena is responsible for handling cases at all phases of litigation including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, motion practice, and defends cases through resolution via settlement or trial. She is adamant about keeping her clients informed throughout each stage of their case and getting the best result in a timely manner. Elena provides each of her clients with tailored representation, and fiercely advocates on their behalf.

Prior to joining MKCI, Elena maintained a general practice in Monmouth County with a reputation for being extremely professional, thorough and knowledgeable.

Elena has argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court, Appellate Division, as well as the New Jersey Superior Courts, in Chancery, Law Division and Special Civil. Elena has also served as a court evaluator for guardianship proceedings in New York Supreme Court. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Monmouth County Bar Association.

At a young age, Elena moved with her family to São Paulo, Brazil and, as a result, has a love of languages, different cultures, and soccer. While in college she spent a semester in Beijing, China and traveled extensively throughout the country. Outside of work, Elena enjoys playing tennis with her family, traveling, and taking long walks with her dog, Maurice.

Elena earned a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from New York University.
