Emily Hanna is an Associate at MKCI’s New York City office, specializing in general liability, toxic torts, and insurance coverage litigation. With a reputation as a formidable litigator, she employs her exceptional skills in motion practice and unwavering determination during discovery proceedings.
Before joining MKCI, Emily excelled as an associate at prominent personal injury firms in Manhattan, where she consistently achieved favorable outcomes for clients in various areas of civil litigation. Her experience encompasses motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent supervision, and right of sepulcher claims.
During her Law School years, Emily seized invaluable opportunities to intern for esteemed judges, including Hon. Lisa A. Sokoloff of the New York County Transit Part, Hon. Matthew Sciarrino Jr. of Kings County Criminal Court, and Hon. Judith McMahon through the Justice Louis Sangiorgio Legal Intern Program at the NY Richmond County Bar Association.
In addition to her legal career, Emily has a passion for adventure and a love for reading. She enjoys exciting activities like skydiving, bungee jumping, and shark cage diving, finding them both invigorating and inspiring. Emily is also an avid reader, always eager to explore the vast world of literature and gain new knowledge and perspectives.
Despite her demanding schedule, Emily cherishes quality time spent with her loved ones. Family is the bedrock of her life, providing unwavering support and a sense of grounding amidst the rigors of her legal practice.
Emily earned her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pace University’s Dyson School of Business, located in New York City.
