Jennifer Suh

Jennifer Suh is a Senior Associate at MKCI’s New York City office. She specializes in insurance defense litigation with an emphasis in asbestos and toxic tort litigation, general personal injury and commercial premises liability. She also has a background in medical malpractice. Jennifer has substantial experience in all procedural aspects of defense litigation, including depositions or examinations before trial, oral arguments, arbitrations, judicial conferences and mediations and has served as national coordinating counsel for private clients and major insurance carriers. She also has extensive trial and litigation experience including bench trials and jury trials. Jennifer works to ensure her clients trial needs are best fulfilled in discussing all available trial options or parameters and successfully negotiating the terms.

Prior to joining MKCI in 2023, Jennifer worked as in-house trial counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance, Nationwide Insurance and CSAA General Insurance Company (AAA Insurance) Company, where she litigated a vast array of bodily injury claims against individuals and commercial clientele. Jennifer also previously worked for a large, multi-national firm, practicing extensively in asbestos-related claims and litigation.

Outside of her legal practice, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her son, as they pursue their dream of seeing the New York Yankees defeat every major league team in every major league baseball stadium. Jennifer (and her dog, Spartacus) are supporters of several animal-related charities and causes, including the Animal Legal Defense Fund.

Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law. She earned a BA with honors in political science and philosophy from Union College, from which she graduated magna cum laude. Jennifer has received numerous academic honors, including the order of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Daniel J. Moore Memorial Scholarship, the Metlife Pathways Scholarship and the Seton Hall University Chancellor Scholarship.
