Ryan O'Keefe

Ryan O’Keefe is an Associate in MKCI’s Livingston, NJ office. Ryan represents businesses of all sizes on a large variety of legal matters, with a focus on defending businesses with regard to asbestos and other toxic tort matters. He is committed to utilizing his knowledge and unique perspective to creatively and efficiently defend any case he handles.

Prior to joining MCKI in 2023, Ryan was an associate attorney for a law firm in Clifton, NJ, where he successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants on a variety of matters in both Superior and Municipal Courts, which include, but are not limited to, general liability law, torts, premises liability, economic loss, contracts, personal injury, workers’ compensation, real estate transactions, estate management, environmental compliance and malpractice, family, municipal, criminal, construction, landlord-tenant, and corporate law. As such, Ryan is well-versed in handling all aspects of civil litigation both in and out of the courtroom.

During law school, Ryan had the privilege of interning for both the Honorable Maritza Berdote-Byrne, J.S.C., Presiding, and the Honorable Robert Hanna, J.S.C., in the Morris County Vicinage, assisting both judges in all aspects of civil practice.

In addition to his work with MKCI, Ryan is an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoys rooting for all New York and Notre Dame sports teams.

Ryan obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Roger Williams School of Law. While attending law school, Ryan had the privilege of participating in the Veterans Disability Appeals Clinic, where he successfully represented disabled veterans in appealing the Department of Veterans Affairs’ denial of disability benefits for conditions incurred during their service to our country. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Montclair State University.
