McGivney & Kluger, P.C. is proud to announce that Ms. Weisslitz has joined the firm as an Associate in our Florham Park, NJ office.
  
Ms. Weisslitz focuses her practice on the defense of construction litigation, product liability, and general liability matters.  She represents national owners and operators of commercial properties in premises liability actions, wrongful termination litigation, and dram shop claims.  She also represents large commercial property owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors regarding contract and insurance disputes, as well as construction defect and construction accident claims.  Ms. Weisslitz is experienced in defending manufacturers of consumer products and industrial machinery and equipment against products liability claims.  She has also defended manufacturers of chemicals and enzymes in environmental tort litigation.
 
In her practice, Ms. Weisslitz represents insurers and third party administrators in connection with disputes arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).  She has also represented insurers in matters including fraud investigations, material misrepresentation cases, rescission actions, declaratory judgments, and interpleaded actions. 
 
Early in her career, Ms. Weisslitz prosecuted cases as a Deputy Attorney General on behalf of the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services.  During her three years with the Attorney General's Office, she served as lead trial counsel and prevailed in over 20 matters. She also successfully argued several matters before the New Jersey Appellate Division. Ms. Weisslitz graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Political Science in 2004.  She received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2007.  She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
