McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia is excited to announce that Pooja Patel, Meagan Dean and Trish Wilson have been elevated to the firm’s Management Committee.
These three Partners are not only influential leaders in their individual capacity, but also successfully handle substantial caseloads and manage departments and offices. We believe they will add significant value to the current and future successful path of this firm.
Pooja Patel Partner Florham Park, NJ
Pooja Patel is a Partner in MKCI’s Florham Park, NJ office and Director of MKCI’s talc litigation group. She represents clients in talc, asbestos, and other toxic tort matters, and has second chaired several trials across the country.
In addition, Pooja directs the defense of the talc litigation throughout the country as National Coordinating Counsel and oversees local work in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. Both of these roles involve everything from developing a corporate story, training local counsel, defending corporate representative depositions, managing client discovery, handling expert workup and controlling trial strategy. She also negotiates settlements nationally.
Pooja co-chairs the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee with Trish Wilson and manages the Paralegal Committee. She also oversees MKCI’s mentorship program and is a mentor to young associates. She also speaks at numerous national and local conferences on the topics of motion practice, depositions, bankruptcy trusts, NCC practice and trial work.
Pooja will now help oversee the firm as a member of its Management Committee.
Meagan Dean Partner Syracuse, NY
Meagan Dean is the Managing Partner of MKC&I’s Syracuse, New York office and Co-Director of the firm’s New York City Asbestos Litigation practice. She is a tenacious and aggressive litigator, specializing in toxic tort claims involving asbestos, chemical exposure, fire claims, and environmental contamination, as well as the defense of personal injury, negligent supervision, product liability, premises liability, municipal claims, and CVA matters.
Meagan serves as trial counsel and National Coordinating Counsel for multiple companies in asbestos litigation and coordinates the defense of those clients across the country. She also serves as Court-appointed Defense Liaison Counsel for New York’s 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th Judicial Districts’ Asbestos Litigation. Meagan has presented at multiple state and national asbestos litigation conferences, as well as the Bar Association’s Annual Conference on autonomous vehicle regulations and liability. She also co-chairs the firm’s Women Lawyer’s Initiative. She now joins our firm’s Management Committee.
Trish Wilson Partner New York/Florham Park, NJ
Trish Wilson is a Partner in MKCI’s New York, NY and Florham Park, NJ offices and a member of the firm’s general liability and asbestos departments. She is an experienced litigator in many practice areas, including Child Victims’ Act litigation, product liability, public entity, consumer fraud and mold related claims. She successfully represents school districts and school personnel in New York State and New Jersey related to negligent supervision claims involving sexual abuse. Trish also specializes in the defense of manufacturers and suppliers as National Coordinating Counsel in toxic tort claims involving asbestos. In this role, she supervises and manages a large network of local counsel in the coordination of multi-district litigation. Trish proudly co-chairs MKCI’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee with Pooja Patel and manages the Paralegal Committee. And now Trish brings her experience and knowledge to the firm’s Management Committee.
