Chris Harvey is an Associate in MKCI’s Syracuse, NY office. His practice focuses primarily on general liability and insurance defense litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, Labor Law, professional malpractice suits, asbestos litigation, and toxic tort cases. He is well versed in handling all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution.
Prior to joining MKCI, Chris was an associate in a medium-sized civil litigation defense firm in Syracuse, NY, where he successfully defended school districts in claims related to the Child Victims’ Act.
Chris is also a member of the Onondaga County and New York State Bar Associations.
Outside of the office Chris is an avid reader and runner, and an amateur birdwatcher. He also enjoys volunteering with various community projects both in the City of Syracuse and in his neighborhood.
Chris obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law. During law school, Chris participated in the Law in London program, where he interned for the Crown Prosecution Service in London, UK. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from SUNY College at Oneonta, where he was on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.
Chris is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of New York and in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers, a lawyer rating service provided by Thomson Reuters, as an Upstate New York Rising Star in 2022.
