Alexandra is an Associate Attorney in MKCI’s New York office. Her areas of practice include handling various matters across the U.S., relating to insurance subrogation and commercial litigation, including recoveries for art insurers, galleries, and private collectors for damage and loss to works of art, jewelry, and antiquities. Her practice also includes defense of products liability and toxic tort claims, such as asbestos and talc litigation matters.
Alexandra is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. In representing her clients, she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve the most advantageous outcome through her diligence, hard work, and attention to detail.
She has litigation experience in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Her experience includes contributions to the representation of U.S. and European banks and financial institutions in all stages of litigation including claim investigation, discovery, and preparing cases for trial in both criminal and civil matters, as well as international arbitration proceedings and cross-border disputes.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2025, she worked as an extern at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, where she drafted motions, subpoenas and legal affirmations, strategized discovery and case theories, analyzed evidence, and interviewed law enforcement and witnesses. Additionally, she previously worked as a law clerk at a top 15 Am Law Global 200 United Kingdom law firm where she contributed to the representation of U.S.-based clients by engaging in various pre-litigation stages, primarily performing discovery reviews and analysis.
On a personal level, Alexandra enjoys cooking, baking, exploring Central Park, and traveling with friends and family.
Alexandra earned her Legum Baccalaureus, the United Kingdom’s Juris Doctor equivalent, from the University of Manchester where she graduated summa cum laude, with first-class honors. After her graduation, she moved to the United States where she pursued a Master of Laws from the NYU School of Law, where she specialized in International Business Regulation, Litigation, and Arbitration.
While focusing on her legal studies, Alexandra also engaged in pro bono work, working tirelessly for her clients at her university’s Innocence Project and Legal Advice Center. She also earned accolades through her participation in national and international moot court competitions, including Best Oral Argument Award and winning her first moot court competition in her first year of law school.
