Alexandra Andrei
ASSOCIATE
Alexandra Andrei is an Associate Attorney in MKCI’s New York office. Her areas of practice include asbestos and talc litigation, and she is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. In representing her clients, Alexandra is dedicated to helping her clients achieve the most advantageous outcome through her diligence, hard work, and attention to detail.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2025, Alexandra worked as an extern at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, where she drafted motions, subpoenas and legal affirmations, strategized discovery and case theories, analyzed evidence, and interviewed law enforcement and witnesses. Additionally, she previously worked as a litigation paralegal at a United Kingdom law firm where she contributed to the representation of U.S.-based clients by engaging in various pre-litigation stages, primarily performing discovery reviews and analysis.
On a personal level, Alexandra enjoys cooking, baking, exploring Central Park, and traveling with friends and family.
Alexandra earned her Legum Baccalaureus, the United Kingdom’s Juris Doctor equivalent, from the University of Manchester where she graduated summa cum laude, with first-class honors. After her graduation, she moved to the United States where she pursued a Master of Laws from the NYU School of Law, where she specialized in International Business Regulation, Litigation, and Arbitration.
While focusing on her legal studies, Alexandra also engaged in pro bono work, working tirelessly for her clients at her university’s Innocence Project and Legal Advice Center. She also earned accolades through her participation in national and international moot court competitions, including Best Oral Argument Award and winning her first moot court competition in her first year of law school.
