Angela Ponto

Angela Ponto is an Associate in MKCI’s Syracuse, NY office. Her practice focuses on toxic tort litigation dealing with asbestos and talc. Angela is passionate about working hard to get the best result possible for her clients.

Prior to joining MKCI, Angela worked at a solo attorney’s office practicing in family law, criminal law, dog custody, and wills.

On a personal level, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also an avid crossfitter and enjoys reading in her free time.

Angela obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Charleston School of Law in Charleston, South Carolina. While attending Charleston School of Law she was the Vice President of The Cannabis Law society and a member of Women in Law, Phi Delta Phi, and The Black Law Student Association. While a member of these groups, Angela helped organize a blood drive, give out COVID kits and food to the homeless, and helped organize multiple fundraising events to help raise money for scholarships the various groups conferred. Angela was also on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee which put on multiple fundraising events for the Racial and Ethnic Minority Scholarship and the Pride in the Law Scholarship. Angela earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from SUNY Oswego, where she captained the varsity woman’s lacrosse team during her senior year.
