Brianne Carbonaro

Brianne Carbonaro is Of Counsel in MKCI’s Syracuse, New York office, as well as the firm’s Brooklyn office. Brianne has two decades of complex personal injury and medical malpractice litigation experience on both the plaintiff and defense side litigating cases from inception through Trial and Appeal. Brianne has obtained high six and seven figure settlements and verdicts on behalf of her clients on the Plaintiff’s side, as well as complete dismissals of seven-figure exposure cases on the defense side. Brianne also has experience defending clients in toxic tort, asbestos and products liability litigation and cases arising out of New York’s Child Victims Act. In addition, Brianne has successfully argued numerous appeals before the New York State Appellate Division.
Known as an aggressive and competent litigator, Brianne has been recognized by New York Super Lawyers as a Rising Star. Prior to joining MKCI, Brianne managed her prior firms’ medical malpractice departments, ensuring that each case received the time, attention, and resources to ensure the best possible outcome for the client. Brianne is an excellent communicator and makes sure that each client is updated frequently throughout the litigation process and that cases are handled expeditiously and in the most cost-effective manner to the client without sacrificing quality.
On a personal level, Brianne enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her children. Brianne is a licensed therapeutic foster parent for Unaccompanied Refugee Minors from across the globe. An advocate for early childhood education, she is also on the Policy Counsel for Head Start. Last but not least, she is also involved in animal rescue and contributes to numerous animal rescues in the United States and abroad. Especially close to her heart is clarifying the misconceptions about the American Pitbull Terrier, which have been some of her most loving and loyal pets.
Brianne earned a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law, a Masters of Professional Studies in Forest and Natural Resources Policy from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and Criminal Justice from LeMoyne College.
