Charles R. Cordova
OF COUNSEL
Charles R. Cordova is Of Counsel in MKCI’s New York City office. He represents both major corporate clients and small businesses in premises liability, labor law and general tort litigation. Charles utilizes a cost efficient practice in the analysis and disposition of complex claims, implementing a “best practices” approach in representation of corporate clients. He is experienced in developing liability and causation defenses, as well as defending cases to verdict utilizing a solid legal foundation.
In addition to his commercial and insurance defense litigation experience, Charles has a strong municipal foundation, having worked for the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and the Corporation Counsel for the City of New York, in addition to facilitating adoption of infants in foster care for Little Flower Children’s Services.
On a personal level, Charles is a first generation Cuban-American, student mentor, art aficionado and avid golfer.
Charles obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. While attending Brooklyn pursuant to a Merit Scholarship, Charles served as the Hispanic Law Student Association Evening Student Coordinator. Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Trinity College, where he was awarded the National Hispanic Merit Scholarship and also served as a Sculpture Teaching Assistant, Latin American Studies Club Director and President of Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
