Colin Pavluk is an Associate in MKCI’s Livingston, New Jersey office. His practice focuses on defending clients in general liability, insurance coverage, and toxic tort litigation.
Colin is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. Colin takes pride in effective client communication, thorough case analysis, and professionalism.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2025, Colin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richard W. English, J.S.C. in the criminal division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County. During his clerkship, Colin conducted legal research, reviewed party brief submissions, wrote legal memoranda for motions, and prepared written opinions and judicial orders. Colin was also a trained court appointed civil mediator where he mediated cases in Small Claims Court.
On a personal level, Colin enjoys golfing, boating, snowboarding, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the New York Giants, Knicks, and Yankees.
Colin earned his Juris Doctor degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2024. Colin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Gettysburg College where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team. While in law school, Colin worked as an intern at the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and participated in the law school’s public interest clinical externship program where he assisted U.S. veterans with disability claims and appeals.
