Gabriel Shvachkin

Gabe Shvachkin is an Associate in MKCI’s New Jersey office. He focuses his practice on the defense of general liability cases and has significant experience in various areas of litigation, including but not limited to product liability, premises liability, toxic tort, environmental claims, construction defect, Civil Rights claims, professional liability, and insurance coverage disputes. Gabe is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. Having started his legal career in transactional work, Gabe understands the importance of transparency and frequent client communication. He always makes it a priority to ensure that his clients have as much of a finger on the pulse of his cases as he does.

Prior to joining MKCI in 2024, Gabe focused predominantly on real estate transactions, landlord tenant litigation, and small-scale commercial litigation. He takes his transactional past and applies it to his practice of general liability law today, ensuring a heightened level of promptness and transparency.

In addition to his work with MKCI, Gabe enjoys golfing, pickleball, hanging out with his dog, and staking far too much of his mental wellbeing on how well the New York Yankees are doing in a given season.

Gabe earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School in Newark. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick. During law school, Gabe participated in the intellectual property clinic, assisting clients with the filings of trademarks and copyrights, and served as notes and comments editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Journal.
