Hillarie Miller
MANAGING PARTNER
Hillarie Miller is Managing Partner of MKCI’s Florida office. In her current practice, Hillarie represents a variety of clients in complex commercial litigation cases, including construction defect, professional liability, products liability, premises liability, negligent security claims, and personal injury claims. Additionally, she assists her client contractors and other corporate clients with contract review, drafting, negotiations, and enforcement. Hillarie’s clients include architects, engineers, attorneys, surveyors, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, corporations, property owners, condominium associations, and property management companies throughout the state of Florida.
Hillarie is a former prosecutor and an experienced trial attorney. She successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases including sexual batteries, child abuse, drug offenses, property crimes, attempted and vehicular homicides, and financial crimes. She has been professionally recognized for her trial work and was awarded the Trial Top Gun award for the State Attorney’s Office, 7th Judicial Circuit, Florida.
In addition to her litigation work, Hillarie currently serves as the Director of Education for the Miami Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
Outside of her work with MKCI, Hillarie focuses her spare time on her family and attending her children’s sporting events.
Hillarie obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, cum laude, ranking in the top 6% of her class. While in law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and received numerous academic accolades. Hillarie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Crime and Justice Studies from the University of Idaho.
