Jess Edwards is Of Counsel in MKCI’s Boston office. Her practice focuses on general liability and toxic tort matters, specifically involving asbestos litigation.
Jess is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, discovery, depositions, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. When representing clients, Jess is passionate about pursuing the best result and do so with professionalism and attention to detail.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2025, Jess was a general practitioner representing union employees in various areas of law such as: criminal and civil matters, immigration, family law, debt and consumer, some probate and real estate. For nine years prior to that, Jess handled personal injury cases and other civil litigation as well as criminal defense. As such, Jess has expansive experience in and out of the courtroom in all stages of a legal matter.
On a personal level, outside of her work with MKCI, Jess enjoys time with her chow chow Beau, reading, golfing and travel.
Jess earned her Juris Doctor degree from Massachusetts School of Law. She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design with a minor in women’s studies from Keene State College.
