John Uetz

John is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial.

In 2025, John came to MKCI with over ten years of experience as an attorney. Prior to joining MKCI, he served his community as a criminal defense attorney at the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office for almost four years. As a public defender, John represented individuals who could not afford to hire an attorney in all stages of criminal litigation, including countless preliminary hearings, motions, and guilty pleas, as well as several jury trials. Before he was a public defender, John served as a judicial law clerk for a judge of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas and spent several years practicing in civil ligation throughout the greater Philadelphia area and New Jersey.

On a personal level, John loves to spend time with his family, including his two children. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and he enjoys listening to (and expanding) his vinyl record collection.

John earned his Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University, from which he graduated magna cum laude. During law school, he wrote an article that was published in the Villanova Law Review – a publication for which he would go on to become a managing editor. Prior to law school, John obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from West Chester University, where he was a member of the Honors College and Honors Student Association.
