Kathleen Achille is a Partner in MKCI’s Coral Springs, Florida office. Kathleen’s practice includes general civil litigation matters, with a focus on construction defect litigation. Kathleen is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. For Kathleen, close attention to the details of a case, as well as an open and clear line of communication with the client, are key components to obtaining the best results possible.
In addition to Kathleen’s litigation experience, she manages MKCI’s Florida office in Coral Springs.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2026, Kathleen was a Partner at a Fort Lauderdale firm, with a focus on general civil litigation. Prior to that, she was a Managing Attorney at a South Florida firm, where the area of practice was banking litigation. Kathleen began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, and upon leaving the State Attorneys’ Office, practiced criminal defense for a number of years.
In addition to Kathleen’s work with MKCI, she loves great Broadway theater, loves experiencing new places, people and cultures, and takes advantage of any opportunity to visit Disney World.
Kathleen earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in 1998. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1995.
