Maya Sparks is an Associate in MKCI’s New York City office. Her area of practice includes defense of products liability and toxic tort claims, such as asbestos and talc litigation matters, as well as general liability matters.
Maya is involved in depositions, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. She is passionate about achieving the best results for her clients with professionalism and attention to detail.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2026, Maya interned at the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, First Department where she drafted bench memoranda and judicial decisions for appellate cases. She also participated in a Family Law Advocacy Clinic where she co-drafted a bill to expand adoption rights in New York and helped a client obtain a divorce.
On a personal level, Maya enjoys cooking, traveling, and learning new languages.
Maya earned her Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo.
