Mindy Kallus is Of Counsel in MKCI’s New York City office. Her practice focuses on appellate litigation and labor and employment matters.
She pursues and defends appeals, and tries employment cases in court and before agencies. Prior to her return to the tri-state area, Mindy pursued and defended medical malpractice and product liability appeals and represented clients in labor and employment matters in the City of Chicago.
In addition to her litigation practice, Mindy co-authored a chapter for a labor law manual, entitled “The Labor Law Handbook,” published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education. She has spoken to employee and employer groups about matters affecting employees and ERISA plans.
In her spare time, Mindy founded a book club and keeps abreast of the latest in science fiction.
Mindy obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a member of the Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, summa cum laude, from the City University of New York (Brooklyn College).
