Robert J. Connor, Jr.
PARTNER
Mr. Connor is a Partner in MKC&I’s Syracuse, New York office. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Connor was an associate attorney for a mid-sized defense litigation firm in Syracuse, New York. He worked on a wide array of civil litigation cases involving, among others, premises liability matters, motor vehicle accidents, products liability cases, Labor Law, construction site accidents, medical and professional malpractice suits, asbestos litigation, toxic tort cases, and Workers’ Compensation defense. Mr. Connor previously interned for the Monroe County District Attorney, the Monroe County Public Defender, and Disability Rights New York, where he was involved in all stages of litigation.
Mr. Connor received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Legal Studies, cum laude, from St. John Fisher College in 2013. He was a founding member of the St. John Fisher College Mock Trial Team. Mr. Connor received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Connor was a member of the Trial Team, and was a finalist in the 2016 National Ethics Trial Competition in Sacramento, California. In his second year of law school, Mr. Connor was awarded the Robert J. Connelly Award for Trial Technique, which is awarded to students who exhibit excellence in trial advocacy.
Mr. Connor is admitted to practice before the State Courts of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the Onondaga County and New York State Bar Associations.
