Stefanie Baroutoglou is an Associate in MKCI’s Livingston, New Jersey office. Her practice focuses on asbestos litigation and talc litigation as well as defense of general liability matters.
Stefanie is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, mediation, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. Stefanie understands the importance of timely and transparent communication, ensuring clients remain informed at every stage of their case.
Prior to joining MKCI in 2025, Stefanie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter G. Geiger in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. Stefanie was trained as a settlement facilitator in the Special Civil Part.
Beyond her work at MKCI, Stefanie finds joy in spending time and exploring new sites with her beloved dog. She also enjoys baking, visiting local coffee shops, participating in 5K runs, and cherishes quality time with her family.
Stefanie earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University (“Pace Law”) in White Plains, New York and graduated cum laude. During her time at Pace Law, Stefanie engaged in pro bono work through the Amelia A. Gould Representation in Mediation Clinic. She provided limited scope representation in court referred mediation. She received the Excellence in Clinical Education Award. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Legal Studies from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
