Stephen F. Balsamo is Of Counsel in MKCI’s Livingston, NJ office. His practice focuses on representing clients in mass toxic tort litigation in New York and New Jersey.
He is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim investigation, written discovery, depositions, negotiation, motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. He is passionate about pursuing the best result thorough careful analysis and attention to detail.
Before joining MKCI in 2025, Stephen began his career by serving as trial counsel for a major insurance company where he defended all aspects of general liability cases from inception through trial in all five boroughs of New York City. Thereafter, he worked at a firm for over twenty years where he handled all aspects of the defense of multiple toxic tort defendants in New York and New Jersey.
Outside of the law, Stephen’s interests include traveling and spending time with his family.
Stephen obtained his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
